Abstract

GoldenCare is a health center monitoring system developed to address the challenges faced by barangay health workers in managing senior citizen records, medicines, and appointments. The system was created in response to issues commonly encountered in manual record keeping, such as delays in retrieving information, inconsistent documentation, and difficulty tracking medical services provided to elderly residents. Its primary objective is to streamline health-related processes by providing a centralized, accessible, and organized digital platform tailored specifically to the needs of Barangay San Martin IV. The system enables health personnel to record consultations, monitor medicine inventory, manage appointments, and maintain updated senior citizen profiles. By automating these essential tasks, GoldenCare supports faster service delivery and reduces errors associated with traditional paper-based methods. The study evaluating the system focused on functionality, usability, reliability, and efficiency, yielding positive feedback from respondents who highlighted its potential to improve daily operations in the barangay health center. GoldenCare aims to enhance the quality of healthcare services for senior citizens by promoting accurate record management, timely assistance, and improved coordination among barangay staff. Through this system, the barangay is better equipped to provide organized, data-driven, and responsive health services for its elderly population.
